This is a great dress for customization, has a nice look on its own and has lots of ability to change the style. Color is wine red, almost iridescent to black. I did have to hem nearly 5 inches to keep it off the floor, and used a nice wide krenelin, looked great at a Victorian ball. The fabric is nice and heavy, doesn’t feel like a costume at all!...

The dress will definitely require a petticoat or crinoline. I tried on the trash out of the package so it is not steamed, I’m sure once it is i
t’ll come to life. I can probably do without the neck accessory. It's definitely Victorian looking. It does have a zipper on the side and laces up in the back to look more from fitting. I purchased a medium but can probably go to a small. I just figured it’s a large costume that I’ll be wearing all night so I want to be comfortable rather than tight and sweaty....
