This costume is beautiful and the quality is great for the value! The stretchiness of the material makes it comfortable, the warmth is perfect for October, and the details are lovely! The fit is true to size, and the color is perfect for Merida!

This is made of a nicer material then most costumes I have gotten from any Halloween stores. Love that it zips up instead of velcro together. Color of the dress was very nice and vibrant. And it fits very comfy in parts that matter. Not very warm so do wear leggings or shorts under it.

This was beautiful and well made. Differently will be able to donate this for someone next year and it still be in great shape.

The listing says the dress is blue, but it's actually green. This is fine because it's a Merida costume, so it SHOULD be green, but I suggest updating the listing. The green part looks like it does in the picture, but that's where the similarity ends. In the picture, the fabric along the neckline and at the shoulders/elbows looks like solid fabric. The dress that arrived has some kind of gold lacy material instead of solid fabric, which I may eventually replace. The belt in the picture looks like a plain brown leather belt, which would have been fine and appropriate for the costume. However, the one that arrived looks like a Chanel knock-off (it has rhinestones and linked CCs on the buckle). The lower halves of the sleeves are EXTREMELY loose. I had to order a 2X to accommodate my bust size, but I've never seen a dress with such big sleeves. I'm going to have to take them in at least an inch and a half to two inches so that they don't look ridiculous. Last, in the bust area, there were some kind of...the only word I can think of is "cups" sewn into the lining, supposedly to give it shape? Unfortunately, those cups were VERY small, especially for the size of the dress, and sewn in VERY high, just under the neckline. I had to open the lining so that I could remove them. This dress was not cheap, and for the price, I was honestly expecting better.
